Techno India Group Public School, Siliguri successfully inaugurated the Techno Inter School Taekwon-Do Championship 2025 on 12 December 2025, marking the commencement of an exciting two-day martial arts extravaganza filled with energy, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The championship was held from 12 to 13 December 2025 at the campus of Techno India Group Public School, Siliguri. The event was organized by Techno India Group Public School, Siliguri in association with the Taekwon-Do Association of Bengal (ITF), powered by SportData event technology .
This prestigious championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 20 leading schools across the region, with both boys and girls competing across multiple age and weight categories. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, mental strength, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and the traditional values of ITF Taekwon-Do among young students.
The opening ceremony on 12 December 2025 featured a colorful march past by the participating teams, oath-taking by team captains, and an inspiring address by the school authorities. The speakers emphasized the vital role of martial arts in shaping confident, disciplined, and responsible youth. All matches were conducted under the supervision of certified ITF Taekwon-Do umpires, judges and coaches, ensuring fairness, safety, and adherence to international standards.
The two-day championship included competitions in Taekwon-Do Patterns (Tuls) and Sparring, culminating in the presentation of medals, trophies, and certificates of excellence to the outstanding performers.
